Destroy Any Website

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 12, 2026.

This policy explains what information Destroy Any Website ("we", "the site") collects when you visit destroyanywebsite.dev, how it is used, and the choices you have. The game needs no account, and we never ask for your name, email address, or payment details to play.

Information stored on your device

Your progress lives in your own browser. The game uses local storage to remember your coin balance, which characters you have unlocked, the character and skin you picked, and the mode you played last. This data never leaves your device unless you play multiplayer, where only what is needed to run the round (such as your position and actions) is sent to the room. Clearing your browser's site data resets this progress. We cannot restore it for you, because we never had it.

Pages you destroy

When you type an address, our server fetches that public page once so your browser can draw a local copy to break. We do not log in to any site for you and do not store the page as content on this site. The live website is never changed. Short technical logs (such as the requested address, time, and IP address) may be kept briefly to stop abuse and keep the service running.

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how many people visit, which pages they open, and roughly where they come from. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies and processes data such as your IP address, device and browser type, and pages viewed. We use this only in aggregate to improve the game. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Google AdSense and third-party advertising

This site uses Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, personalized ads are only shown where the required consent has been given. Without consent, Google may show non-personalized ads, which still use cookies for frequency capping, fraud prevention, and aggregated reporting.

Cookies and how to control them

Besides the analytics and advertising cookies above, our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may set strictly necessary cookies for security and bot protection. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking cookies will not stop the game from working, although ads may become less relevant.

Children

The site is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data, or to object to its processing. Because we hold almost nothing that identifies you, most requests are best handled through the Google tools above. For anything else, use the contact page.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows the latest version. See also our Terms of Use.
