Challenge mode

Challenge is the solo mode where the page fights back. Sandbox uses the same level and the same weapons, and leaves every block asleep. You pick the mode on the title screen, under the address field, and you can change it from the pause menu during a solo game. Multiplayer does not use this layer at all.

Minions

A few seconds after you spawn, some buttons and pictures wake up. Break a block before that timer finishes and the wake-up happens sooner. The awake pieces hop, crawl, or fly toward the stickman. Touching one knocks you back and tumbles you for a short moment. It does not delete the run. They are made from the page you loaded, so a sparse page has fewer of them than a busy one.

The logo mini-boss

The game looks for a logo-sized block in the header. When you finally break that block, it can come back as a heavier body: eyes, a hard landing, and 300 hit points. It is slower than the small minions and a poor target for the pistol alone. A rocket, the flamethrower, or a charged black hole does more of the work. Beating it drops a pile of coins on top of anything the block was already hiding.

Coins hidden in the page

Before you arrive, the address is used as a seed. Five to twelve blocks are marked as loot. The same URL marks the same blocks. A different URL marks different ones. Break a marked block and coins spill out. Sometimes a gem comes with them and, for a couple of seconds, pulls coins in from farther away. The count is saved in this browser and shown on the title screen and on the HUD, including on a phone. Coins are not real money, and a multiplayer round does not add or spend them.

Iron Hand costs 200, Digger costs 400, and Clown costs 600. What those characters add is on the arsenal page. The stickman stays free.

Sandbox and Challenge

Controls for both modes are the same. They are listed on how to play.
